Body Form 3D is a prototype that visualizes entered measurements and provides styling-oriented body-type and silhouette reference values.
1. Reference results only
Wave/Straight/Natural, hourglass, pear, apple, rectangle and inverted triangle results are calculated from a limited set of measurements. Actual body shape and garment fit can differ depending on brand patterns, posture, soft tissue and measurement location.
2. Not medical diagnosis
This tool does not assess health risk, obesity, body-fat percentage, disease, development, hormone status or any other medical condition. Health decisions should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional.
3. Measurement error
Results can change with tape angle, clothing thickness, breathing, posture and landmark placement. Repeat measurements under similar conditions, and interpret results near a threshold as a reference between neighboring categories rather than a definitive type.
4. Differences from other systems
Body-shape classification methods vary between services and styling systems. The rules used here were independently assembled from common structures in public body-shape calculators, so the result is not guaranteed to match another site.
5. Subject to change
The prototype algorithm, wording, UI and thresholds may change as the tool is improved. Do not rely on this result alone for important purchasing or health decisions.
